We interviewed with Retech Sales Executive Assistant Tamara Kramis for the special issue of ‘Swiss Textile Machinery Industry’ in our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine. Kramis gave information about their export markets and talked about their work on sustainability, automation and digitalisation. “2023 was Challenging but Successful Year”
The year 2023 was challenging but ultimately successful and positive. Certain markets were demanding and volumes were reduced. On the other hand, we had good capacity utilisation with special projects and also with modernisations and overhauls of existing systems. Due to the generally tense situation, various yarn manufacturers invested in existing systems over purchasing new machines and we were able to provide support in this regard.
“We Value Our Customers in Turkey for Their Consistency and Loyalty”
Europe is still our key market, as this is where most of the (OEMs) Original Equipment Manufacturer are based. In addition, the US market is very important to us and we maintain a strong presence there. In emerging markets such as China, Korea, South East Asia and India our comittment and efforts are achieving positive results. As we Retech especially values the lasting partnerships with customers in Turkey for their consistency and loyalty.
“We are Expanding the Use of Solar Energy in Our Facilities”

“Retech Godets Offers Long Service Life and Permanent Availability”
The Retech godet concept offers multifaceted benefits to manufacturers. In addition to the energy-saving motors and energy-optimised heaters a very important part of the Retech godet concept is the long service life and the associated permanent availability, thus reducing machine downtimes and the production of rejects. If a godet fails, there is immediately a great loss, inconvenience, and disruption to the production process. Therefore, as we Retech has equipped its godets with additional measuring elements in order to be able to react preventively to possible damage and subsequent failure.

Thanks to the proven temperature measuring transmission system – UTR-6A, which measures the temperatures in the rotating godet and transmits the data to the temperature controller UCR-6 for processing without contact, it is possible to take further measurements, collect data and evaluate them.
