We claim it’s a machine that can be used without problems for 20 years. The positive feedback we’ve received from industry veterans also supports this.”
“We Hosted Many Customers from Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt”
Yaşar, noting that the exhibition took place during a challenging period, under the shadow of global economic fluctuations and wars, emphasized that migration in the textile sector is a major problem for Turkiye: “There’s a significant company migration from our country to Egypt. Despite this, we will continue to resist and demonstrate our presence to the world by participating in trade exhibitions. New Trend in Ready-to-Wear and Embroidery: Beading
Yaşar also commented on the trends that will come to the fore in the garment and ready-to-wear sector in the near future, saying that beadwork is on the rise in the embroidery sector. Yaşar said, “We’re trying to keep up with this trend by adding cutting-edge equipment to our machines. We’ll shape our R&D efforts accordingly, depending on which trends emerge in the industry in the future.”
“State Policy is Necessary in Textiles”
Yaşar made a more comprehensive assessment of the expectations for the second half of 2025 and 2026. “The textile sector needs to become a matter of state policy. Textiles and apparel are a massive sector, employing millions of people. While attempts are made to understate the value added, textiles are critical to the national economy and employment. We believe the government should approach this sector with a dedicated ministry. Currently, our largest companies are turning to foreign countries, leading to a significant void in Turkiye. This will have very negative consequences for our people and retirees. We are aware of this situation and want everyone to be aware of it as well.”
