What are your views on the contributions of the IGM 2022 Exhibition to the sector?
We were very sorry to take a long break due to thecancellation of the exhibitions during the pandemic process. We missed meeting and socializing with our customers during this time. We always attach great importance to the IGM Exhibition. We see it as an opportunity to introduce ourselves and our products. The garment and ready-to-wear industry came together thanks to the exhibition. Thus, we both hosted our visitors and created new business partnerships from various segments of the sector.
Can you please tell us about the products you exhibited at IGM 2022?
We participated the exhibition with embroidery and digital printing machines. We presented our newest products to our customers in working condition. IGM 2022 Exhibition is of great importance for us as we have found this opportunity. We introduced our machine that can digitally dye and process raw yarn. We have machines that print on 100% cotton and wool. We presented Tajima’s 8-stamp machine that embroider up to 2mm stamps at IGM 2022. TMCP-VF Series -Multi-head automatic embroidery machines stand out as our machine that attracts intense interest. We introduced them thanks to IGM 2022. The exhibition was very productive for us in terms of embroidery industry and digital printing. We hosted our guests from abroad and introduced our products.
What would you like to say about the position of garment and ready-to-wear products in Turkey today?
Obviously, the textile industry did not stand still during the pandemic and continued to grow. Markets such as home textiles, socks and underwear developed. The garment and ready-to-wear sector is open to change and development on its own. Logistics costs have increased after the pandemic. This brings Turkey to the forefront. This is because we are very close to Europe in terms of location. In short, We can say that Turkey’s most important advantage is logistics.
