We Made Negotiations with High Added Value at ITM 2024
Alper Diktaş, one of the partners of Serkon Teknoloji, who participated in ITM 2024 with automation systems, pointed out the importance of the exhibition in terms of seeing the innovations in the sector. Diktaş; ‘There was an intense interest in our stand. The main issue that attracted our attention is that visitors are more interested in technical issues and products. We made high value-added negotiations.”
We interviewed with Alper Diktaş for our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine. Diktaş; “ITM Exhibition and the reactions of the visitors to the exhibition reveal that the technologies developed are accurate for the sector.”
Can you give information about the products you highlighted at ITM 2024 Exhibition?
We highlighted our artificial intelligence supported QBAR, which automates image processing and surface quality control processes, and ShadeBar, which automates color quality control processes. We also offered our visitors the outputs of these products to our customers with our laying group and cutting group machines that we combine with our machines.
What kind of benefits these products provide to users?
Quality control processes are processes carried out by human hands and their outputs are difficult to digitize. Our product QBAR, which we have developed, can perform quality control at the time of flow, while simultaneously labeling and digitizing the data. This reduces the burden of human operation and eliminates human-related faults. ShadeBar can perform color difference and color controls together. With these products, we promise end-to-end digitalization.
This year’s motto of ITM 2024 is ‘Discover the Future!’ What are your predictions for the future of the textile industry?
The textile and garment industry is facing an inevitable digitalization. We are also trying to support digitalization processes. We aim to incorporate artificial intelligence and automation technologies into our customers’ factories and production processes, and we have taken our place in these development processes.
Issues such as digitalization, automation and sustainability are among the important parameters in the future of the textile industry. What kind of preparations and studies does your company have on these issues?
We aim to increase contributions to sustainable solutions with digital technologies. We provide serious support for the improvement of waste materials, energy consumption and water consumption used in production stages.
What kind of gains ITM 2024 Exhibition offered to the sector and your company?
There are ups and downs in the textile, ready-to wear and machinery sector every period. We see this period as an opportunity for purification and cleansing. ITM 2024 Exhibition, the reactions of the visitors to this exhibition and the technologies developed show that we are on the right track. ITM 2024 Exhibition is very valuable for us as it allows us to check where we are and the accuracy of our goals.
