ITM 2024 is a Very Important Opportunity in a Time of Difficulties in the Textile Sector

Özgür Ziya Kılıç, General Manager in charge of Marketing at Özbilim, emphasized that ITM 2024 is a significant opportunity for both machinery manufacturers and the Turkish textile industry.

Özbilim, a 50-year-old company in Turkey, manufactures a wide range of products such as fully automatic and semi-automatic fabric spreading machines, cutting machines and fabric inspection machines.

Kılıç stated that the benefits that the products they exhibited at the exhibition will provide to their users are focused on digitalization. Evaluating the ITM 2024 Exhibition in terms of the textile machinery industry, Kılıç said, “During periods when the textile industry in Turkey is struggling a little bit, it is a very important opportunity for both us machinery manufacturers and the Turkish textile industry to have customers, dealers and companies from abroad visit Turkey. Because such meetings help the textile industry and machinery industry in Turkey.”

Kılıç also added that they were busy from the morning of the first day and hoped that the interest would continue. Kılıç summarized the advantages of ITM Exhibition being organized in Istanbul with the following words: “It is very important that the ITM Exhibition is held in Istanbul. Because now the majority of our market is in Asia. In other words, in countries such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is difficult for these countries to visit European events due to visa policies. Therefore, Turkey and especially Istanbul is very important in terms of being in the midpoint of East and West and combining them.
