As Tekstil Teknoloji magazine, we interviewed with Davide Maccabruni, CEO of Uster Technologies for our “Swiss Textile Machinery Industry” special issue. Maccabruni explained the features of the products they will exhibit at the ITM Exhibition and talked about FiberQ, which they will launch in Turkey for the first time this year.

After a successful 2023, I am confident for the future and that we have been investing in the right way. That is vital, not only to maintain our current worldwide leadership in our core business areas, but also to enhance the added value we offer our customers in completely new dimensions. We will also continue to play an increasingly leading role in the field of sustainability. Within the Uster sustainability initiative, we are very active on the support we offer our customers in their own sustainability endeavors. Besides the well-known efficiency of our products, in both energy use and performance terms, the unmatched expected lifetime of our technologies is also decisive for sustainable production. We are also exploring ways to use more sustainable materials to produce our own hardware. Last but not least: Uster is developing sustainable solutions for both current business segments as well as new ones.

Uster FiberQ Lot and Uster FiberQ Bale are the software elements of 360Q for raw material utilization. They support spinners’ daily processes, eventually resulting in better quality consistency, profitability and further growth. We will start to roll out FiberQ in Turkey this year.
