“We Hosted Visitors from North Africa, the Balkans and the Turkic Republics”
With a 35-year history in the sewing machine industry, Sevmak exhibited its innovative products at the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition. Sevmak General Manager Ahmet Sevilmiş provided information about the industrial and home-type sewing machines and spare parts they showcased at the event.
Sevilmiş stated that the company was founded in 1990 and said, “We trade approximately 400 types of industrial sewing machines, 100 types of home sewing machines, and 30,000 different spare parts. At the fair, we are exhibiting our high-tech products such as single, double, and four-head embroidery machines, diamond overlock machines, and thread trimming systems.”
Artificial Intelligence and Automation Take the Spotlight
Emphasizing that they are keeping up with advancing technology, Sevilmiş highlighted that they are enhancing user experience by integrating AI-supported systems, especially in embroidery machines. He also pointed out that automation plays a key role in simplifying business processes.
The Exhibition Brings New Energy to the Industry
Mentioning that the ready-to-wear and garment sector is going through a challenging period, Sevilmiş expressed his belief that the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition would bring motivation and new dynamism to the industry: “We started to feel this from the very first day of the exhibtion.” he said.
Sevilmiş also expressed satisfaction with the international interest in the fair, noting the attention from foreign visitors especially from North Africa, the Balkans, and Turkic Republics, along with strong participation from domestic customers from Anatolia and Southeastern Turkiye.
