Hand knitted scarves and berets made with the labor of women are on the shelves
Aksa Akrilik, one of the world’s leading acrylic fiber producers and DAGI came together in a new social responsibility project that will give hope to the future by creating employment for women. In project scope; first of all, Acryluna branded, colorfast, warm, soft and eco-friendly hand knitting yarns produced by Aksa Akrilik were sent to 80 women in cooperation with Beylikdüzü Municipality. Later, hand-made scarves and berets knitted by participating women took their place in DAGI stores and online sales sites. The income from the sale of scarves and berets will be given to productive women. Scarves and berets have longer life and high insulation properties in cold weather, thanks to the yarns produced under the Acryluna brand.
