We conducted an interview with Emrah Poslu, Member of the Board of Directors of Elteksmak and co-founder of the company, for our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine. Speaking to our ‘Turkish Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ special issue, Poslu made evaluations about the year 2022 and said; ‘‘As Elteksmak, we spent 2022 very successfully and increased our production considerably in terms of quantity and turnover. Achieving this increase despite global problems such as raw materials and electronic equipment that emerged after the pandemic, as well as some economic and political problems that occurred in some of our markets, makes our success even more valuable.’’
‘‘We continue to be one of the top exporting companies in 2022’’
Poslu stated that they are one of the companies that export the most in textile machinery in 2022; ‘‘We see exports as the key to overcoming possible economic crises that may occur in our country.’’ Emrah Poslu continued his remarks as follows; ‘‘Export is very important for our company. We see exports as the way out of possible economic crises that may occur in our country. For this reason, we maintain our place among the most exporting companies in recent years. As a general strategy, we want to balance the domestic market and exports. In 2022, we accelerated our initiatives in some other markets to meet possible crises that may arise and our increasing production while maintaining this situation in countries where we have a high market share.’’

The company, which will continue its 2022 investments in 2023, also continues to develop new products. Speaking about the new stenter machines produced with a special design, Emrah Poslu expressed the following; ‘‘We are a company that aims to continuously develop and grow. For this reason, our investments continue in the direction of increasing quality, increasing production and, in my opinion, most importantly, increasing qualified labor force. In 2022, in addition to our stenter, tambler drying and free drying machines, which are our locomotive machines for the textile sector, we are in a good position in the market with the finishing lines we produce up to 5 meters working width in the carpet sector. We also receive very positive feedback from our customers about our 4th generation POSLU GEN4 stenter machine, which we produce with a special design.’’
‘‘In 2023, we will present our new machines to our customers’’
Emrah Poslu underlined that they attach importance to R&D studies and announced that they will present new machines in 2023. Emrah Poslu stated the following on the subject; ‘‘We are a company that aims to actively develop. For this reason, we attach importance to R&D studies. For example; Our POSLU GEN4 stenter machine is a machine that we have created as a result of long R&D studies and has privileged features. In addition, our new investment projects continue rapidly. In 2023, we will present some of our new machines to our customers.’’
Poslu concluded his statements as follows; ‘‘In line with a certain strategy, we will continue our work on the basis of machinery and the balance between the domestic market and exports. We think that the success of each year should be above the previous year for continuity and we need to strengthen our service network more in order to ensure our permanence in all markets.’’
