Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Association (UTIB) and Uludağ Apparel and Clothing Exporters’ Association (UHKIB) completed their online trainings for companies within the scope of the Mini-MBA Program, which was carried out to increase Turkey’s competitiveness in the textile and ready-to-wear sector and to develop innovation culture. The 8-week online training program for the participants in the program, which was carried out under the mentorship of TechXtile Program Coordinator Ufuk Batum, ended with the presentations made by the companies in groups.
‘Turkey’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Develops with R&D Centers and Start-Up Collaborations’
Program Coordinator Ufuk Batum pointed out the importance of R&D centers and Start-Ups working together and said, “We exchanged ideas to improve the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey. The information we obtained from different sectors guided us on the strategies we can implement in the future. This diversity, with each company’s unique way of doing business, culture and character, made the information sharing in the training productive.”
‘Innovative Consciousness Increases’
Stating that the program aims to develop innovative awareness in individuals and institutions, Batum continued: “Within the scope of our efforts for the development of R&D, innovation and design in our country, we continue our efforts to raise awareness by supporting companies and businesses that value R&D and innovation in the sector with events such as TechXtile Innovation League. In this direction, I think that the educational journey we have completed with the Mini MBA Program for companies and individuals has provided great awareness in increasing innovation-based exports and creating this culture in institutions. I would like to thank all the participants and UTIB-UHKIB family who added value to the program by showing unity of strength.”
