Important visit to Denizli OIZ from Fashion and Apparel Federation and DETGIS
The President of the Fashion and Apparel Federation (MHGF), Hüseyin Öztürk, the Chairwoman of the Denizli Textile and Apparel Industrialists’ Association (DETGİS), Mukaddes Başkaya, the Chief Advisor of Ekonomi Newspaper, Dr. Rüştü Bozkurt, and the accompanying delegation visited the Denizli Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ).
The delegation met with Denizli OIZ Chairman of the Board Derya Baltalı, Vice Chairman Selim Yaymanoğlu, Board Member İsmail Aslan, and Regional Director Ahmet Taş. MHGF Secretary General Abbas Baysal Özpınar, DETGİS Vice President Melih Kansız, and DETGİS Secretary Burcu Alıç also joined the visit.
Within the scope of the visit, a comprehensive exchange of views was held on industrial investments in the region, the current state of the textile sector, and future opportunities for collaboration.
At the meeting, the importance of joint projects that would further strengthen Denizli’s production power and of sustainability-focused initiatives was emphasized. DETGİS Chairwoman Mukaddes Başkaya announced that on August 19, they will hold the first regional workshop for the industry in Denizli together with the Fashion and Ready-to-Wear Federation and Ekonomi Newspaper, and invited the Denizli OIZ Administration and industrialists to the event.
