ITM 2024 has been Successful Beyond Our Expectations Since the First Day

ITM 2024, which hosted many local and foreign visitors, made the participants smile on the second day. Onur Tekstil General Manager Doğan Akpınar, who participated in the exhibition with the companies he represents, said; “Expectations are low in the first days of the exhibitions. The crowd increases in the following days. ITM 2024 Exhibition went better than we expected from the first day. The majority of those who came to our stand were professional visitors.”

Stating that the main goal of the fairs is to exhibit new technologies, Akpınar said, ‘New technology does not occur suddenly. We add innovations on top of technology and exhibit them. In our stand, we exhibit the latest innovations in printing technology, the latest technologies in steaming systems and automatic dosing systems and innovations in energy consumption.’ Emphasising that new technologies reduce costs and prevent environmental pollution while increasing quality, Akpınar said, ‘You will see the same goal in the stands of all European companies: environment, energy, sustainability and quality… Our Turkish manufacturers are also focused on this goal, which makes us happy.’

Stating that the ITM 2024 Exhibition attracted attention with its visitor diversity, Akpınar said, ‘I saw many visitors from the Middle East at the exhibition. There are many exhibitors from countries such as Iran, Russia, Egypt, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. ITM Exhibition is a very successful bridge between Europe and Asia. When we say to our foreign friends ‘Let’s go, there is a exhibition in Istanbul’, they attend the exhibition without objection.’
