ITM Offers a Good Opportunity to Enter Alternative Markets
“ITM, one of the best exhibitions in the world, offers a very good opportunity to enter alternative markets.” PRO-SMH Managing Partner Cenk Gencay said.
PRO-SMH, which manufactures pre weaving machines; participates in the organization with its own machinery. Gencay said that the first three days of the event were crowded beyond their expectations and added, “Visitors do not come for sightseeing or to see the machines, but to buy project-based machines. We are at the stage of making agreements with countries where we have not been before. If financial support is provided, our domestic machinery manufacturers have the capacity to produce state-of-the-art machines.”
PRO-SMH uses advanced technologies in its machines. Stating that their main goal while producing is to be able to handle all kinds of needs of the machine from the center, Gencay continues his statements as follows; “Our technical team should not have to visit customers. Let the machines tell us their problems and we can intervene remotely. This is only possible by using advanced technology and electronics.”
Gencay says that they need support to be able to do world-class work. If the financial problem is overcome, it will be possible to produce world-class jobs in terms of technique, machine quality and customer satisfaction. Pointing out that digitalization is inevitable, Gencay underlines that domestic manufacturers need to produce higher level, value-added machines. The way to do this is through digitalization.
