Çatma Tekstil ve Makina Sanayi Dış Ticaret Inc. has been offering the products of the leading brands of the industrial sewing machines sector to textile manufacturers since 1973. Çatma Inc., headquartered in Istanbul, provides domestic and international services with its Bursa and Izmir branches. The company provides free of charge service to machine sellers and users within the scope of the warranty period with the principle of timely and full technical support. Çatma Inc. will exhibit the latest technologies of Beisler, Dürkopp Adler, Habraken, KSL, Pfaff Industrial companies, which it represents, at its stand 406 in Hall 4 at Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition. We interviewed with Güneş Çatma, a member of the Board of Directors of Çatma Tekstil ve Makina Sanayi Dış Ticaret A.Ş., before the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition. Güneş Çatma, with whom we talked about the preparations for the fair, made important evaluations about the sector.
“We Want to Introduce Our Innovative Technologies to All Our Customers”
Güneş Çatma emphasized that their biggest expectation from the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition is to introduce the brands they represent to visitors from home and abroad and to share the most up-to-date technologies. Çatma said, “In today’s world where technology is rapidly developing, we will also introduce these innovations to our customers. This exhibition is very valuable in terms of directly introducing the latest solutions and giving direction to the sector.”
“Exhibitions are Tools that Carry Knowledge to the Future”
Güneş Çatma, who stated that the Turkish garment and ready-to-wear sector has a significant history and accumulation worldwide, drew attention to the fact that exhibitions are the tools that will carry this accumulation to the future. “Thanks to such organizations, manufacturers can be informed about new, current and technological innovations, which provides a competitive advantage to the sector,” she said.

Çatma, who stated that they aim to reach markets outside of Europe, North Africa, the Balkans and the Caucasus where they currently work, said, “Thanks to Türkiye’s geopolitical location and experience in the sector, this exhibition will be an important platform to establish new collaborations and expand our customer profile.”

Çatma, who stated that the biggest need of the Turkish ready-to-wear and garment sector is the production of high value-added products and the use of advanced technology, said that the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition will contribute to this transformation. “The exhibition offers a great opportunity to integrate technological developments into the sector,” she said.
