Pailung Aims to be Spotlighted with Its Launches at ITM 2020
Elips Tekstil was established in Istanbul in 2000 for presenting new technologies in the textile industry to the market and ensure the technical service. Company represent of Pailung and Vanguard Pailung in its Turkey and Uzbekistan offices.
Pailung, where Elips Textile is also represented in Russia, produces approximately 300 knitting machines per month with all its factories. The company have about 3,000 knitting machines in Turkey.
We interviewed with Zeynel Doğan, General Manager of Elips Tekstil for this month’s issue. In our interview, we talked about the activities of Elips Tekstil as well as the activities of Pailung, which the company represented.
Could you tell us about the activities of Elips Tekstil to date?
Elips Tekstil started machine sales in 2000. When we started the sales circular knitting machines, we were just having representation in Turkey. As a result of the demands, we opened our office in Uzbekistan in 2003. Elips Tekstil only represent of Vanguard Pailung and Pailung in Turkey. In Uzbekistan, we represent Pailung as well as large Turkish companies. We also sell circular knitting machines and dye finishing machines in Uzbeksitan. We are able to install and operate the complete equipment of a dyehouse to be formed on knitted fabric. In recent years, we have sold machinery to some local companies in Russia. Towards the end of 2020, we are planning to open an office in Moscow at the request of the companies we represent in Uzbekistan.
Can you tell us about Pailung’s activities?
Pailung, the most important brand in the Far East, is constantly improving itself. Pailung, which sales textile machine to Turkey for the first time in 1992, has about 3,000 Pailung knitting machines in our country. Pailung introduces itself with the most beautiful fabric touches and is always present in the sector both with this aspect and with its continuous improvement. In addition, the company produces machine types that produce new types of fabrics.
Which countries does Pailung sells its products most?
In the past, sales to China and Bangladesh were high. But, when China introduced customs-related protections, Pauling’s sales fell. But then the company established a factory in China. The company sells only to Chinese companies in here and does not export. Investment in Bangladesh has been declining for the last few years. India and Vietnam are now at the forefront of sales.
What is the production capacity of the company?
Pailung is able to produce 200 machines per month in Taiwan. If we do not count Chinese manufacturers, we can say that it is one of the companies that can produce the most products in the world. The Pailung; It has three factories in Taiwan, USA (Vanguard Pailung) and China. If we look at the total monthly production of all the factories, it produces about 300 machines.
Can you tell us about the latest innovations of Pailung?
Pailung recently exhibited two types of new machines at the ITMA in Barcelona. The company exhibited the machine that he produced the jacquard of double-face fabric on the circular knitting single jersey machines and produced the 3-D self-shaving, high pile fabric.
Will Pailung have new machines to promote at ITM 2020?
Pailung is working on new products for the ITM 2020 Exhibition. We are preparing to introduce two different and new machines with one standard machine. We aim to be the center of attention at the exhibition.
