Turkish Companies Impressed to Domotex Hannover

Domotex Hannover 2019 Fair, which was attended by over 400 companies from more than 60 countries, was held on 11-14 January. With close to 90 percent of all attendees having decision-making authority, the caliber of the show’s visitors remained extremely high – a fact confirmed by exhibitors. According to the exhibition survey, the order situation of exhibitors remained constant, while the purchasing volume per visitor went up. About 70 percent of all DOMOTEX attendees once again came from abroad.

Ahmet Kaplan, the head of Southeast Anatolian Carpet Exporters’ Association, said that they were pleased with intense interest during the fair. Kaplan, “The stands opened by our companies are proud in behalf of our country in this fair which is of great importance for the Turkish carpet industry. During the exhibition, our companies was heavily interested. Our firms met 2019 collections with buyers. Our new designs have attracted more attention than expected.” he said.

Turkish carpet companies settled a to- tal of 23 thousand 538 square meters and Turkey took the title of the largest participating country of the exhibition. 92 companies out of 170 companies which participating to the fair from Turkey in other words 54 percent of that was from Gaziantep.
