“Türkiye Maintains Its Strategic Role in Textile Production”
China-based Atexco, whose Turkish representation is handled by Mert Dijital, showcased its next-generation technologies for digital textile printing at the ITM 2026 Exhibition. Atexco Sales Director Charles Fu said, “From the first days of the exhibition, we received intense interest from both existing customers and new visitors.”
Operating in the field of digital textile printing technologies, Atexco highlighted its sublimation printing machines equipped with Kyocera recirculating printheads at the ITM 2026 Exhibition. The systems displayed by the company feature 16 Kyocera printheads and are capable of reaching a production capacity of approximately 800 linear meters per hour. Atexco also presented its high-penetration reactive printing solutions to visitors. Through the technologies it has developed to provide higher print quality and greater production efficiency on different fabric types, the company aims to expand the application areas of digital printing technologies.
“Pigment Printing Technologies Are Gaining Strength”
According to Atexco Sales Director Charles Fu, one of the most significant developments in the textile printing industry in recent years has been the rapid rise of pigment printing technologies. Fu stated that solutions designed to reduce environmental impact are shaping the future of the industry and that pigment printing is playing an important role in this transformation. Pointing out that digital printing technologies are developing rapidly in parallel with the growing demand for more environmentally friendly production methods, Fu emphasized that the concept of sustainable production is becoming increasingly decisive for both manufacturers and brands.
Charles Fu, who considers ITM 2026 Exhibition one of Türkiye’s most important textile organizations, said, “The exhibition, which is held every two years, is an important platform for us to meet with our customers and introduce our new technologies. Stating that Istanbul’s strategic location connecting Asia and Europe provides a significant advantage to the exhibition, Fu noted that bringing together visitors from different countries on the same platform strengthens international collaborations. Highlighting China’s strong position in the digital printing sector and the importance of the South Asian and Southeast Asian markets, Charles Fu emphasized that Turkey maintains its strategic role in textile production. Therefore, Fu underlined that the company is focusing not only on the Turkish market but also on growth opportunities in Europe.
Stating that they have experienced a positive development process to date, Fu said that investments in digital textile printing will continue in the coming period. Atexco aims to strengthen its presence in international markets with innovative printing technologies and an expanding global customer network.
