We Aim to Meet New Investors at ITM 2024

On the second day of the ITM 2024 Exhibition, we talked to Aslan K. Yağcılar, the Marketing and Technical Director of Ozon Denim, a company producing sustainable machine solutions for the denim sector. Yağcılar said; “Turkey needs to reduce its increasing costs,” and stated that they had high expectations from the exhibition with their environmentally friendly ozone generator and systems.
Can you provide information about the products you highlighted at the ITM 2024 Exhibition?
We participated in ITM 2024 with ozone generators and systems used for sustainable washing in the denim sector. In developing this system, our aim was to reduce the harmful chemical ratio used during washing process and also provide electricity and water savings.
What kind of benefits the products you exhibit at the exhibition provide to users?
Sustainable ozone washing systems significantly reduce electricity and water consumption, making them environmentally friendly products. These machines are used in the finishing part of denim production, in back staining. Since our machine carries out the washing procedure with ozone gas, it significantly reduces the chemicals used in the production process. Sustainable washing means saving in matters such as chemical substances, electricity, water, and steam. The world now prefers environmentally friendly, sustainable energies. With the technology we have developed, we provide Turkey with a competitive advantage.
What are your expectations from ITM 2024?
Our expectations are certainly high. Because Istanbul is now a common meeting point. We have customers from all over the world; from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, Europe. It is easier for these people to come to Istanbul than to travel to European countries. The attractiveness of the exhibition naturally raises our expectations. At this exhibition, we aim to meet new investors, increase our sales and establish new partnerships for the future.
Is the interest in ITM 2024 meeting your expectations?
The whole world is going through an economically turbulent period. Due to increasing costs, textile production is shifting to the countries where labor is cheaper. Turkey needs to analyze its current situation correctly and evaluate new opportunities. One option is to reduce human labor by purchasing machines that use high technology. ITM is an important platform for both commercial and intellectual aspects for participants. The products exhibited and the topics discussed help to form this vision and encourage us to be bolder in new ventures. The exhibition meets our expectations in these aspects. I believe our satisfaction will increase even more in the following days.
What kind of collaborations have you signed during the exhibition?
The sale of our machines takes a certain time. There are lots of projects, our demands are high. We have signed new projects. We expect the collaborations started here to be completed.
