Interview: Dilek Hayırlı
İlker Kaya, Founding Partner of Devsan said; “The increase in our production volume until the 2nd quarter of 2023 has now stabilised due to the global crisis. However, from a medium and long-term perspective, we are positive and confident.”
As part of the ‘Turkish Textile Machinery Industry’ special issue in the January issue of Tekstil Teknoloji magazine, we interviewed with Devsan Founding Partner İlker Kaya. Kaya evaluated the year 2023 and gave information about R&D activities, after-sales services and 2024 targets. The highlights of the interview are as follows:
“Our machines are CE certified and comply with safety standards”
Our machines used in warp preparation processes reached high sales numbers in a short time. In our machines; we use top quality products in motion control, PLC, HMI products. Communication between devices is net-based and at MB level. In addition, our machines are CE certified and comply with safety standards.
“We Will Present Our Latest Technologies in Warp Preparation at ITM 2024 Exhibition”
Our machines are working in almost every continent, especially in Egypt and Iran. In 2023, we participated in the ITMA 2023 fair. As a company, we participate in international fairs, so we aim to reach a larger market share abroad by explaining our new machines to our customers. In the ITM 2024 exhibition, which will be held domestically this year, we will present the latest technologies in the field of warp preparation to our customers with our new model machines.
“Our R&D Studies on Laser Sensor Measurement Technique Have Achieved Success”
We focus on R&D studies in order to adapt to the world in warp preparation. We have achieved success in the laser sensor measurement technique in sectional warping machines as a result of the intensive R&D studies we have carried out in the last 5 years.
“We Provide 24/7 Technical Service”
We provide 24/7 technical service because we know that the trouble-free and uninterrupted operation of the machines is important for our customers. We can also respond to urgent needs immediately with our spare parts stock. We ensure that software development and improvements are kept up to date by applying them to the machines produced in the past years.
“Our Production Volume Increased Until the 2nd Quarter of 2023″
Until the 2nd quarter of 2023, the increase in our production volume has now stabilised with the crisis in the world. As a result of the energy and fuel crisis and the increase in costs, negative effects were reflected in the textile sector as in all sectors. For this reason, textile export sales decreased and we can say that the transition to the pause period has been made.
“We are confident in the medium and long term”
However, from a medium- and long-term perspective, we are positive and confident. We have fundamental, solid and considerable optimism. Together, we will come out of this process strong. We will continue our efforts to provide better service to our customers through R&D.
