TEMSAD 12. General Meeting was Held
TEMSAD- Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists’ Association 12th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held on Saturday, 26 June 2021 at Elite World Europe Hotel.
In addition to the TEMSAD Board of Directors and its members; İsmail Gülle, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly, Hüseyin Öztürk, the President of the Fashion and Apparel Federation, and Vehbi Canpolat, the President of the Turkish Textile Finishing Industrialists Association, also attended.
After the protocol speeches, information and evaluations were made about the 11th term. Afterwards, the Supreme Council Federation Delegate was elected together with the 12th Term Management and Supervisory Board. TEMSAD members elected Adil Nalbant as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in the 12th term.
Reminding that 1.8 billion dollars of imports were made in textile machinery in 2020, Nalbant said in his speech that they expect an increase of 30 percent in exports and 50 percent in imports by the end of the year. Nalbant said, “More work should be done in order to be more competitive in textile and more investment should be made in the machinery sector.”
