“We Hosted a Large Number of Visitors from the Far East”
TEMS Makina General Manager Ahmet Takak described the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition as a productive event where the foundations for important business connections were laid. “We will turn into the connections we’ve made here into sales processes after the exhibition,” Takak said, adding that the large number of visitors, particularly from the Far East, was particularly pleasing.
TEMS Makina, which has been developing specialized machinery solutions for the textile and garment industries since 1999, attracted attention with the high-tech products it exhibited at the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition. Company General Manager Ahmet Takak spoke to Tekstil Teknoloji magazine about the power of domestic production, the advantages of automation, and the opportunities offered by the exhibition. TEMS Makine, which continues to increase its competitiveness in both the Turkish and international markets with its domestic production power, innovative approach and customer-focused technologies, once again demonstrated the potential of domestic machinery manufacturers in the global arena with its strong stance at the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition.
“We Produce 100% Domestic”
TEMS Makina has been a well-established company manufacturing machinery for the textile and garment industries since 1999. General Manager Ahmet Takak stated that their production focus is specifically on the classic clothing and denim sectors, emphasizing that all the machines they develop are 100% domestically produced. “We offer solutions to the needs of the industry with products such as the laser-cut pocket welting automat, part and pleat sewing automat, pocket counter automat and laser-cut cover automat” said Takak, emphasizing that these systems, developed entirely with Turkish engineering, offer quality and efficiency to manufacturers.
The Power of Automation: Quality and Efficient Production
According to Ahmet Takak, robotic systems and automation technologies make the biggest difference in today’s production processes. These systems, which operate with a performance approaching the precision of human hands, reduce production errors while maintaining standard quality levels. Takak commented, “The biggest advantage provided by robotic and automated systems is the ability to produce better quality, more efficiently, and in higher quantities,” and stated that manufacturers’ interest in these systems is rapidly increasing. Takak stated that TEMS Makina continues to intensify its R&D efforts in this direction and integrate new generation technologies into its machines.
“We Update Our Machines According to Customer Needs”
TEMS Makina closely monitors trends in artificial intelligence and automation to meet not only today’s but also future production needs. The company updates its machines specifically to meet changing fashion trends, designs, and fabric types, aiming to offer manufacturers flexible and efficient solutions. “We update our machines every year in line with changing fashion trends and customer expectations. Our goal is to provide added value to manufacturers with systems that maximize efficiency,” Takak said, emphasizing their commitment to a production approach that embraces technology.
“We Had the Opportunity to Introduce Our New Technologies”
Ahmet Takak described the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition as a productive event where important business connections were forged. Takak said, “During the four-day fair, we had the opportunity to showcase our machines, meet with companies one-on-one, and introduce our new technologies. We will turn into the connections we made here into sales processes after the exhibition. The high number of visitors from the Far East is particularly pleasing.”
“Every Crisis is an Opportunity”
Ahmet Takak stated that they have not compromised on production despite the global economic downturn and sectoral uncertainties, and that they will overcome this period with determination. Takak concluded by saying, “This period is challenging for everyone, but we at TEMS Makina continue to produce. We operate with the understanding that every crisis is an opportunity. The way to overcome these problems is to strengthen the working system and maintain production.”
