Center in Textile Production” Toyota Textile Machinery Europe AG (TTME) is among the leading providers of state-of-the-art textile machinery solutions that meet the evolving demands of the global textile industry. Toyota participated in ITM 2024 with its latest technologies in the weaving and spinning industry. We interviewed with Marcus Lichtenstein, TTME Operations Manager. The highlights of the interview are as follows:
“We Exhibited Airjet Weaving Machines, Jat 910 at ITM 2024”
The highlights of the interview are as follows: We participated in ITM 2024 with two separate booths in the weaving and spinning halls. In the weaving section, we exhibited the airjet weaving machine Jat 910. This machine has very low energy consumption, high speed and low vibration levels.
“ITM 2024 Met Our Expectations”
The first day of the exhibition was a bit slow for our company, but on the second and third day we welcomed many local and international visitors. Many people are interested in our new machines and new technologies. We are excited to be here.
“We are working to reduce the energy consumption of machines”
The exhibition met our expectations in terms of the number of visitors, in terms of interest. As everyone knows, the global economy is not in a very good situation at the moment and it will probably take some more time to solve these problems. In automation, we see great potential in sensor technology. This means that the machine can self-regulate. We are trying to reduce the number of people in the plants. We are constantly working to reduce the energy consumption of the machines.
“I think Turkey will be the centre of textile production in the future”
Now that we live in a multipolar world where all conditions are changing, it is difficult to make any predictions, but we have to be ready and flexible. That’s why I think Turkey and especially ITM can be a very important center for textile production in the future.
