International Istanbul Yarn Fair Is Preparing To Meet The Sector For The 22nd Time
Istanbul, which connects Europe and Asia, is preparing to host one of the largest international trade centers in the textile sector. The 22nd International Istanbul Yarn Fair will bring together both global-scale participants and thousands of professional visitors under the same roof.
As the largest and most long-established meeting of the textile sector in the region, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair will be held for the 22nd time on March 26–28, 2026, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, with an organization arranged by Tüyap Fairs Group. Traditionally held every year in February, the fair will be organized in March this time, bringing sector professionals together in a different period.
At the fair, a wide range of products will be exhibited, from organic yarns to synthetic and fancy yarns, from elastane yarns to hand-knitting yarns. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine fibers and fiber products, bobbin, pirn and spool varieties, as well as textile chemicals and dyes.
AN INTERNATIONAL TRADE PLATFORM
The fair, which will host more than 500 exhibiting companies this year, is expected to welcome approximately 20,000 visitors from more than 110 countries. Drawing strong interest from countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Iran, Russia, Egypt, and Algeria, the fair will open the door to new business connections on both a regional and global scale.
During the fair, it is anticipated that a trade volume exceeding 10 million dollars will be realized. As Türkiye’s only international specialized fair focused solely on yarn, Istanbul Yarn Fair offers participants not only the opportunity to showcase their products but also to establish new business partnerships.
STRATEGIC LOCATION AND SECTORAL ADVANTAGES
Thanks to Istanbul’s strategic geographical position, sector professionals coming from Europe and Asia will be able to access the fair easily. With direct flight and logistics advantages, the fair will enable buyers and suppliers to meet under the same roof.
Last year, the fair hosted 546 exhibiting companies from 18 different countries and 16,921 visitors from 78 countries. This year, with broader participation, it will highlight innovative yarn trends and sustainable production solutions in the textile sector. According to participant survey results, 95% of the companies attending the fair stated that they were satisfied with their overall experience, while 96% indicated that they plan to participate in the fair again. In the visitor survey, a satisfaction rate of 92% was achieved, and 94% of respondents stated that they intend to revisit the fair. These figures reinforce the fair’s position as a strong international meeting point for the sector.
