‘Good Practice’ Award for Zorluteks’ People-Oriented Sustainability Approach
Zorluteks, one of Turkey’s largest integrated home textile manufacturers, was honored with the ‘Good Practice Award’ in the ‘Human’ category at the 33rd Quality Congress organized by the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer) this year.
Within the scope of the Sustainable Future Awards, which was held for the second time this year, the company once again crowned its human-oriented sustainability approach by receiving the ‘Good Practice Award’ in the ‘Human’ category.

Zorluteks’ strong efforts in areas such as human rights, diversity, inclusion, fair remuneration, and employee health and safety were decisive in winning this award. In the award evaluation process, which is based on the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics, a rigorous audit was carried out under the headings of ‘Governance, Planet, People and Welfare’. Especially in the ‘Human’ category, Zorluteks’ practices for the satisfaction and development of its employees drew attention. The company offers its employees a safe, supportive and inclusive working environment with people-oriented projects that form the basis of its sustainability strategy.
Zorluteks’ success in the award journey is based not only on specific projects, but also on its holistic approach to sustainability efforts. In the evaluation process, criteria such as the company’s strategic approach, the applicability of its policies throughout the company, its systematic progress in line with the determined targets, and periodic reviews came to the fore. During the three-day detailed field audits, independent experts objectively evaluated Zorluteks’ commitment to sustainability and its achievements.

In this context, Burak Aydın was appointed as the President of Zorlu Holding’s Technology and Digital Business Development Group on December 2, 2024.
Zorlu Group, within the scope of Smart Life 2030 sustainability approach; While continuing to take strong steps in the transformation journey in the field of information technologies and digitalization; He transformed the Presidency of the Information Technologies Group into the Head of the Technology and Digital Business Development Group. In this context, Burak Aydın was appointed as the President of the Technology and Digital Business Development Group as of December 2, 2024, to assume the leadership of technology and digital business models development strategies.
Murat Zeren, who has been successfully serving as the Head of Information Technologies Group at Zorlu Group since 2013, has decided to leave his position as of November 30, 2024, and the restructuring aims to further the Group’s transformation strategies in the fields of technology, innovation, digitalization and artificial intelligence, to develop innovative digital business models and to contribute to the sustainable growth of the Zorlu Group through these processes.
